Goblet Dining Table

Inspired by the traditional mortar, whose form invokes the divine feminine spirit of the mother to the Toraja women of Sulawesi, Indonesia, this form now serves as an elegant pedestal base. Carved from solid reclaimed Acacia in the Northern Philippines and finished by hand here in Long Island City, the base is topped with a circular slab which can be customized for both size and finish upon request.
