Nupe Door

Nupe doors are carved by an indigenous people called the Nupe in the highlands near the Nigeria Cameroon border. They represent families, energy, and household belongings. Some were used as doors or panels for the native houses and some were used strictly as shamanistic tools. The shamans used them to evoke positive energy for wealth, prosperity, joy and happiness.
